20 system: Maximum casting height of 20 mm
Processing time: 120 minutes
50 system: Maximum casting height of 50 mm
Processing time: 240 minutes
To determine how much CreativEpoxy needs to cover the specific surface, please refer to the table below.
Formula for calculating the amount of material:
Length x width x height (cm) / 1000 = material quantity in KG
Problem: The CreativEpoxy systems should be stored at temperatures between 10°C and 30°C. If the temperature is too cold, the A component may crystallize, which can lead to a milky appearance. In rare cases, the resin may also change from a liquid to a solid state.
Solution : Warm up the material in a closed container (approx. 40-50 degrees), e.g. in a water bath or oven. The material will become liquid or clear again. There is no need to worry about any reduction in quality!
The components should be mixed very thoroughly!
Pouring the mixture into a new, clean container and mixing again also reduces possible problems during curing.
- Mixing ratio: 100:35 by weight (A:B)
- Material and processing temperatures should be 15°C - 35°C
- Temperature resistance: -50°C to +85°C
- Humidity: Should be a maximum of 70%
Problem: During the curing time, ensure that the temperature and humidity (including air humidity) remain constant and protect! Excessive air humidity during curing can lead to a milky surface or a white film. The air humidity should be between 30 - 70%. Approx. 24 hours at 23 C°, sandable after approx. 48 hours, complete curing after 7 days.
Solution: Pour a new layer of resin or polish the surface.
Full curing is achieved after 7 days. We do not recommend sanding or polishing beforehand.
Tools can be cleaned with acetone or nitro thinner.
